If you are told to wait on a call from Norma to schedule a procedure for your child, save yourself the time and find a new Ophthalmologist. We were told that our infant needed a procedure done by their eye surgeon, and the sooner the better for a successful procedure. I was at the Sheperd Eye Center on Post Rd. and many of the ladies behind the desk were rude and not helpful. They rather sit there and talk to each other. Many of the patients can't see and they were told to fill out a kiosk, there is no one to help them and the ones behind the desk would not help, just shout out instructions rather rudely while just sitting there.
RecommendedI was worried about going back at first...hadn't been back in a year because of the pandemic. I was still worried because it seemed like too many people for that space. But they followed the safety guidelines pretty well, and they were still as efficient as they've always been. The staff was especially understanding and worked well with me when they saw I was in a wheelchair.
if you can aviod them and NV Eye they are unprofessional and don't care about their patients at least this has been my experience for many years, but due to insurance this is where i have to go ! Waits for an apt. terrible, have been in the office waiting up to 3 hrs or more on a regular basis and than be dissappoionted with terrible service ! Since NV Eye has merged with Shepherd making things 10 times worse, they have been rude, unprofessional and gave me terrible unprofessional service !
Fast service and most of the staff are friendly and accommodating esp. the ophthalmologist, Dr. Carolyn Wuvant. The waiting time was just right.
