As an ode to his Israeli roots, Chef Alon Shaya created Shaya as an innovative restaurant with elements borrowed from his Middle-Eastern ancestry. Hacen un pan pita exquisito que sirven caliente. Muy buena atención y la comida deliciosa: el hummus y el queso de cabra frito.
A waiter ruined our entire experience. He was totally out of line. We planned on a leisurely meal and were in no interest in rushing. He told us to order our entire meal. We did. Before we knew what happened everything was on our table appetizer salads and main courses. It was ridiculous. When we mentioned it to the waiter he started telling me off and that I was wrong. Saba was recommended to me by a friend. It exceeded my expectations and the lamb kabobs, seasoned fries, and hummus was delicious!
Nice change up from all the traditional meals I was having during my NOLA visit.
