MRI is way to high it was over $5800 I got it in Abilene for $750.
I had surgery just a few days ago and I just want to thank Shannon's Womens and Children s hospital for the care they gave me. My Dr. Kelly Wilson is the best and recommend him to any one. I also recommend Dr. David Boswell he was great. I would like to thank all the nurses that took care of me on third floor. I only know their first names. Brenda,Rondea, Kat,Kayla and CNAs Cheyanne and Sally. Thank you so much and God Bless each and every one of you.

I had a billing problem with Shannon Medical Center that persisted for several months. Now that it has been taken care of, I believe it is only fair to update my review. I am happy with the service I have received from the medical providers with SMC, but I think their billing procedures and systems need improvement. There is a serious lack of communication to consumers and in between departments.
This hospital is very caring and compassionate! they took very good care of me. Thank you Dr. Stephen Coates Jr. and staff! They have great continuity here!
I had a heart attack in 2009 -2010th..I was hospitalized for 5 days and this hospital was very professional and savy ,, their quick actions towards me .in getting me stable and making sure everthing was better than ok. The nursing staff were very nice and thoughtful for my every need and the doctors were extra careing.. They are the reason I am in my still here.. To day. I'm very grateful to Shannon Medical Center / Hospital of San Angelo.. Thank You.
Pain management in this town is unbelievable !! I've been a patient for 4 YEARS and my insurance has paid Shannon one hell of alot of money, WHY is it taking 4 DAYS to get a prescription refilled ? I mean, I understand that my doc moved suites, WITH OUT NOTIFYING PATIENTS, and her numbers changed too, which is Ludacris. I was told my scripts would be refilled yesterday, then promised today, now nothing till Monday !! So, I sit here with a terrible neck injury, and no relief !
If you go to the ER for any reason. Leave you wallet at home, if you are in a wreck and go by ambulance, say good bye to anything of value. Don't bother reporting it to corporate, they will just say "it is just gone" sorry about your luck.
