I ordered the falafel w/side salad today. The side salad was redundant, since it was the exact same thing as the veggies in the falafel gyro. The "spring greens" were literally just arugula, and sprouts, which both were overpowering in both the gyro and salad. There was no direction or recommendations from the girl on the phone when ordering, even after stating that I hadn't been there before. As for the falafel gyro, there were 2 small pieces of cauliflower, and 4 half moon slices of zucchini (?) for their "marinated vegeta... read more

Just bought a $8 lemon filled lemon sandwich cookie at snowgoose. I took one bite and it was dry, awful texture and overly salty. Very disappointing, especially for $8.

I passed Shambala at the Ballard Farmers Market yesterday and my mouth dropped when I heard these sweet angels say gluten free sourdough bread. After almost 9 years without it, I've had an emotional 24 hours. Thank you for serving us even though we were late, I won't be late next week!

Taking our 7 year old celiac child into this bakery and telling him he can have ANYTHING HE WANTS was an incredible experience. He was diagnosed at 1 year, so he has never been able to walk into any bakery (or restaurant) and known that anything and everything was safe for him to eat. It was literally a pivotal moment in his life The food was delicious, and we will happily return.
