とにかくPaddington駅から５分くらいの立地なのでヒースローからの利便性が抜群。 最初アゴダでとったがリクエスト入力欄がなかったため、直接ホテルのサイトに予約を入れ直し(日本語ありました！)リクエストで腰痛のため階段無しの荷物運びは負担なので受付に近い階希望したら受付と同じ階にしてくれました！少なくとも２部屋は受付と同じ階の部屋があるようです。地下にも数部屋あったけど階段が狭くて運ぶのが大変な感じに見えた。 Paddington駅のホテルにはいくつか泊まったがここは珍しく冷蔵庫があった。電気ケトルも新しそうでした。ドライヤーはよくあるかべにくっついたタイプです。 Wi-Fiは近くのホテルと数件で同じものを使ってるようですが、メアドを登録すると使えるものでパスワードがないので携帯のセキュリティチェックで「安全じゃない」とでてきました。そのため、調べものはホテルWi-Fiだけど他はdocomo Wi-Fi、と使い分けていました。ホテルなのにパスワードがないWi-Fiが初めてだったので驚きました。駅近でスーパーや飲食店もあるので食には困りません。駅にはPaddingtonSquareという小さいけど新しいショッピングモールができていました。

HORRENDOUS STAY - I booked a signal room at the Shakespeare hotel and didn’t realise I would be sharing the room with others. When leaving, I bought the fact my room had a cockroach infestation to the attention of the reception who said, oh sorry.
