Two stars because all the techs that have come to our house to service our machines have been kind and helpful. Wish I could say the same about the people who work in the actual store. I called yesterday as I received multiple missed calls from sew much more. The lady on the phone was downright rude. Her response when I said I was calling them back was "Well I guess I'll walk around the WHOLE STORE and ask every person if they called you" with an attitude. Fantastic shop! Great people! Great Machines, new, nearly new and pre-owned oldies! Have purchased 5 or 6 machines (lost track) and lots of other stuff. Love this place so much! Everyone is helpful and so nice; my favorite person there is Sheldon, he is sooo helpful to me and several of my friends. We drive up from just north of San Antonio. Once we get there we don't want to leave.

I came here to try and get help on/finish a Christmas gift (a gigantic quilt) and everyone who helped me was very knowledgeable and accommodating. I love this place. I could kill hours just matching fabric and thread. Would definitely recommend when starting any sort of crafts/sewing/embroidery project.

I bought my first machine from Sew Much More around 1985. At that time they were a very small shop, yet featuring some wonderful machines. The machine (a White Jeans Machine) is still going strong with the occasional trip to the store for a good cleaning and tune-up. I dressed dozens of skaters with hundreds of costumes and that machine made it through. If you use your machine heavily, it's a good idea to bring it in sometimes for a tune-up/wellness check. You'd be amazed at the difference it will make in keeping you happily... read more
