We sat in the ER for 3+ hours to leave to find treatment elsewhere because they wouldn't see us. Found out my wife had bilateral pneumonia at another hospital. Then they have the NERVE to charge our insurance, then bill us $300+ for sitting in an ER while my wife was suffering!!!! We received no treatment, and still got charged. What a fraud!

Lack of communication, lack of respect, 40 year old hospital room lacking basic equipment. Slow as molasses staff that act like they don't know what they are doing and don't care. Forced to go to hospital from ER by ambulance when not necessary. All tests could have been done on an outpatient basis. Will receive a huge bill though they never diagnosed or treated what was wrong so will have to go elsewhere to get the medical care that I should have received at Seton.

Remove the star from this post....This is a NEGATIVE 5-star hospital - A family member (elderly) has been to their ER twice - the first visit - waited in the ER waiting room for 6+ hours before being seen for a possible STROKE (did not eat anything all day and they didn't care, until I went ape on them!) and then didn't leave that ER until after midnight!!!! What a racket! ....the second visit ...6+ hours for a medium level fever - did x-ray, blood work, CT scan and it has taken the radiologist over 2+ hours to read results.... read more

$31,610 (before insurance) later, 3 days of hospital stay, tons of tests on my mother, who has Alzheimer's, and no reason found for her passing out several times. I spoke to one doctor at the ER and one on the cardiac floor on the day of her admittance. Never spoke to another doctor on days 2 and 3, not even at the time of discharge. I had to tell various staff members many times that she had Alzheimer's even though it was in her record and she was brought by ambulance from her memory care facility. The nurses were very nice... read more
