Am heartbroken, been trying to grow my hair to one length, as I have very fine hair. Been doing so for about 3 years and was getting close enough to be able to cut to one length. Have always used Serenity and they all were so friendly and helpful ,and did only trim as asked, to enable my hair to get to one length. Went yesterday and colour was done by Kelly, which I can't fault, but the hairdresser who cut my hair, Ive never seen before, was asked to just do a little trim. Visited a few times in 2024, salon was overbooked all times without appropriate seating. I needed to wait 1,5hr on one occasion for a simple cut - the salon was full with highlight ladies who took longer than than expected. Also, no ventilation other than open door, so very toxic hair dye smell in the room which I didn't want to inhale. I waited standing outside and I had people who arrived later on invited in before me by the receptionist staff. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a hair salon. I booked a balayage, and while the girl who did my hair was lovely, the result was incredibly uneven (photo below). I had to contact them to get it fixed. On top of that, they ruined my hoodie by getting bleach all over it (photos below). I sent the owner a receipt for the cost of my hoodie, expecting them to cover it, but when I went back to have my hair fixed, they instead offered me a free conditioning treatment.
