Had a fantastic trip yesterday. To see the seals and birds on the farne islands. The chaps on the boat were very knowledgeable and made the trip even better. Would recommend to anyone coming to Seahouses.
We did the Holy Island boat trip, me and the husband and our 7 and 4 year old. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The crew were fantastic, but I can only remember Aaron's name. When we initially set off the sea was quite choppy. My little boy (4) was terrified (me and a few other women were nervous too), but Aaron kindly spoke to him to ensure him that everything was ok. Thankfully, the sea became very calm after I said a few prayers ☺️ . Phew. We saw plenty of seals and birds at the Farne islands. The commentary was fantastic... read more
The Grey Seal trip was excellent and very enjoyable! The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the trip to anyone interested in seeing the Farne Islands up close.
Meravigliosa esperienza! Abbiamo trovato una giornata favolosa, avvistato molti uccelli marini e le foche grigie! Non più presenti a fine agosto le pulcinelle di mare, ma non è periodo! Il personale di bordo ha dato molte informazioni e ci ha indirizzato su alcuni particolari che altrimenti non avremmo avuto modo di cogliere! Barca comoda, con possibilità di sedersi, siamo stati fortunati perché il tuor di primo mattino era abbastanza libero.
