I had been to both of our ERS in Bertie and Hertford Co and they could not find out what these terrible blisters were and I couldn't breath. One visit to Sentara in Elizabeth City and they knew exactly what it was. they saved my life! thank you so much!

So my 8 year old broke her arm Friday at her dad's house. He took her to Albemarle, they took 12 xrays and they said it was just a sprain. Her fingers are so swollen that her knuckles are bruising so I took her to Chowan because she can't make a fist or turn her arm. They took one x-ray and immediately told me it was broken. Way to drop the ball Albemarle. This momma is not thrilled that my baby went all weekend with a broken arm and no relief.

We had our son at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center last week. What a wonderful experience for my family. Everyone was caring and compassionate: the doctors, nursing, dietary, housekeeping, etc.. Thank you to everyone who helped us welcome our new family member to the world!

So I have the flu. I went to Albemarle twice and was told i didnt have the flu and wasnt treated with proper care. so i left the DEADMORE to go to Chesapeake General Hospital. I was brought to the back immediately. Not only do i have the flu but my oxygen was so low i had to get a steriod and a breathing treatment. I had to get two bags of fluids, Tamaflu, and a EKG because my heart rate was so low. All i got to say is EFF YOU DEADMORE I COULD HAVE DIED WHILE YOU thought it was a joke.

I'm on the edge here. nurses try aids are overwhelmed with too many pts. I never saw a hospitalist only a PA who doesn't listen to me. It took 4days to get a antibiotic and then I was kicked out on the 5th still sick. I've been through this pneumonia and copd ex many times and know what works for me, they should listen. I wish my own Dr would come here. I'm leaving today and if they don't give me what I need I'm going straight to my Dr and then Norfolk. please listen to your pts. and stop thinking we don't know our body or a... read more

Take better care of your patients. My mother in law has been sitting in the ER for 8 hours and you can't find her a room.
