I’ve always donated to this charity as it the closest to me. I recently donated a suitcase with of clothes and im certain my ring was in there. Not expensive but sentimental. 100% certain as I took it off to pack. I know there was a one heart earring. They denied it of course but I know they are liars. Last time I ever donate to them again. Will be using the donation boxes going forward. Jokes on them as I know they’ll try to pawn it. Lowlifes!
I have been going to sense charity shop in deptford and donating for nearly 3 years. There is always a very warm and welcoming atmosphere and the staff and volunteers are always helpful. Sense Deptford have really good items including designer that they sell and are very cheap compared to other charity shops locally that I have been to. Went in yesterday and only realised the lady behind the counter over charged me, I know it's a charity shop, but please don't over charge and charge what's been labelled on the items, for example, one of the purchases I made was for 3 cups, she charge me £1 each, when it should of been £1 for all 3, the original price was (sticker underneath the new price) was £2.25 for 4 of these cups. Some people really do need the extra ponds now a days.
This charity supports people who are Deaf & Blind also persons with complex needs and disabilities. sense Deptford charity shop extremely reasonably priced for the current times. and the donations they get are out of this world all great brands . cheaper then all charity shops in central lewisham with great brands.
