Associa Inc. is the Parent company of MRCM. Prior to being purchased. MRCM had a grade of D with the Better Business Bureau. Now MRCM, under the Associa Inc. ownership, has a grade of A+. How is that possible, when MRCM, is still practicing the same operational policies, as MRCM is now owned, by Associa Inc. Was this ownership change, done, to upgrade MRCM's grade with the BBB? Trying to make MRCM, look good, to MRCM clients. I hope the Better Business Bureau, is aware of this situation.

I own my condo at ** ****** crst in Guelph. I called the emergency call line January 6 2018 because my furnace pipe was completely frozen over while it was -30 outside and my condo was 15. Whomever I spoke with said that they would send someone over and the I WOULD BE BILLED FOR THIS ISSUE! The pipe is 12 ft up from the ground and no possible way for me to do anything to unclog it. I have a family and kids and we are wearing winter jackets inside and running the oven to keep warm. As I write this I AM STILL WAITING FOR THIS ... read more

Associa handles our HOA in our housing community in Columbus, OH. After getting a letter in the mail stating that our HOA would be switching over starting October 1, 2016, we didn't send our payment in to Associa for that month, which I admit was error on our end as we misunderstood the letter. However, as soon as I realized my mistake, we paid up, or so I thought, by adding $5 per month to our monthly fees over the past year. We even made a double payment one month just to be safe. All this time I thought that we were in th... read more

I've lived here for almost four years now. Let's talk about the tennis court area. Half of us don't even have a key to the area and the courts are a total mess and an eye sore! It's completely unkept, things are weathered and falling apart, it has looked like that since I have moved in. Why is no one doing anything about this? We pay an extremely high HOH to look at that disgusting tennis court. There needs to be a meeting held, where we may possibly vote for something else to go there. No one uses the tennis court, somethin... read more

HOA towed my car because it was in violation of a 3-day rule. It had been parked for one night. They used a towing company to come at 11:54 PM to take it away. No one answers the phone.

Business response:

The community manager has been in contact with Ms. **** and will issue a refrund once he receives her towning receipts. Towing company made an error in towing the wrong vehicle.

As a professional in the real estate market since 2003, I always had experienced Associa on the REALTOR side - and it was the worst. Now, I have had an opportunity to experience it as a home owner and what happened to me today is the icing on the cake. For over 2 weeks, I have been trying to contact them (via email, phone and on their website) with regard to a gate code issue. I cannot remotely open the gate for my guests. Today, I decided to request additional help once again from the property manager and to include my con... read more

Associa Tennessee invaded my HOA with no notification and announced their demands beginning with we had no rights and they had all rights. I've lived here for 22 years and no HOA management company has ever been involved. Crooked individuals took over management and decreased property values and let the property fall into disrepair. they in turn brought this crooked company in to bail them out. Homeowners were never notified of the move. They have invaded private area and removed belongings to trash without consulting homeow... read more

Associa is the management company for my HOA here in Reno, Nevada. Dawn ********* the manager for the office here is extremely rude. She has threatened to get the owners of my house to evict me for not following their governing guidelines, but they REFUSE to give me or my rental agency a copy of said guidelines. They allow their board members to trespass, harass, and bully you. They claim that they care about the community, but they only care when it's convenient for them. When she threatened me I pushed back and she banned ... read more

Was outright lied to by an employee, who basically admitted they didn't have the proper legal documents and were going to enforce bylaws that conflicted with state law. Wouldn't provide the bylaws. Wouldn't provide any information, but did send a bill, asked for direct withdrawls from my account and threatened to put a lien on my house. Yeah, A+ at scamming.
