This was a great trip. Beautiful scenery. Brilliant local guide, Pep, who was passionate about his island. He provided high quality boats and kit and drove us around the island finding all the best paddles for the weather conditions. Our leader, Paul, was always good value for high energy, support and encouragement and multiple kayaking anecdotes! An improvement for the trip would be a bit more Mallorcan focus on the food, perhaps a couple of dinners out during the week, or a local cook coming to the villa? All in all.......... read more
Sea Kayak Dorset’s week in Majorca was incredible! The guides were calm, knowledgeable and clearly passionate. They ensured everything ran smoothly, from preparing great meals to taking us to the best kayaking spots. We explored dramatic cliffs, caves, natural arches and secluded beaches only reachable by sea, with the bonus of being able to swim and snorkel in crystal-clear waters. The week was relaxed yet adventurous and perfectly organised, making it an unforgettable way to see the island.
I had a very enjoyable week Paddling in Majorca. Fantastic coaching and leadership by Paul and team, they offered support while on the water. We paddled in good quality boats, our local kayak leader was able to offer informed knowledge of the history and geology of the area. I would recommend this holiday with Paul who is a fantastic host.
I had a wonderful 2 day experience with the centre, this week. The level 2 course included a lot of information and experience-based knowledge, but it was also a lot of fun. We were grateful for a little chop on the water, to enable practice of some of the new strokes in realistic conditions. The second day was a combination of a relaxed paddle up Fleet Lagoon in the morning, with a break stop and breath-taking views from Chesil Beach, and rescue training in the afternoon.
