Glad we were only stopping for one night couldn't stop in there any longer then that,room Was a shambles, my advice pay extra and stop some were else,worst place I've stopped in Whitby by a country mile!!!!!!
Good location. Fairly clean but there was sand in my bed?? Shower only had freezing and cold settings, they fixed it but then had very hot and scolding settings. WiFi only works with tv on and its very weak. Stays on 30 seconds then disconnects. I gave up with it. Tv has about 4 channels working. If you a bigger than 'chunky' You won't be able to get through the gap in to the shower. Very narrow. Toilet a good flusher. Noise!! Every floorboard creeks! We arrived on the 16 may leaving 18 may staying in room1 the bin had not been emptied from the last clients and the cups were dirty no tea bags the towels from the last çients were there wet the bed was comfy and there was dirty underwear in the draw so didn't use the draws it's the little things that make all the difference I would change your cleaners who take pride in the job everything was ok
Pleasently surprised given the other reviews- clean room and bedding.
Partner booked this months ago the night before, we checked the reviews and panicked, it sounded awful. We ended up booking a Khyber Holiday Apartment which was significantly cheaper and lovely instead. The whole set up was odd, the building looked grimy but had a modern hand activated keypad to get in. It had no reception. Turned out we had a basement room with one small window. The carpet was new but the bed was barely a bed - felt more like a blow up mattress. The bathroom had a fancy shower. The fire alarms were hanging ... read more
