The Dr’s, surgeons and nurses are kind, compassionate and do an extraordinary job. I have had nine surgeries over the years, and wouldn’t go anywhere else! Scripps is the BEST!
Recently had a spinal surgery here and my experience was far beyond what I even hoped for. The staff are all very upbeat and attentive. Above making me as comfortable as possible they were also very informative about my procedure, recovery and all my medications. They accommodated me whenever I needed more water or wanted to stretch and take a walk, and all were very pleasant and positive, always smiling. Natasha in recovery, you’re amazing! I am an employee at Scripps Chula vista 4th floor DOU...my father was a pt at Scripps mercy san diego in the ER on sunday....I'm so grateful that the staff and doctors were so wonderful towards him...My father said you all were very kind and he didn't have to wait long and the staff didnt know I was employed by Scripps....My father means everything to me and it just warms my heart to know he received such good care! My son is currently in this hospital after sustaining a head injury last night. He is a Sailor in the USN and they couldn't be bothered to call his immediate family and let us know if he was okay! Now.... many hours later, they are transferring him to Balboa and I still have received no information!!!!! If this is a standard practice for a hospital trauma center, maybe your Board of Directors and Chief of Trauma need to rethink their whole process. The hospital medical staff treated me very well! Thousands of miles away from home and family, but I’m forever grateful! Thank you to everyone who made such a frightening scare to the er, pleasant! Especially, Dr. Lis!
I received a great service, Doctor Cohen is a wonderful urologist and a great person. All the nurses and the anesthesiologist, and laboratory persons are great! The facility is great! Everything is great! I highly recommend Scripps hospital!
