Hmmm, where do I start. Oh yea, It was New Years 2018. And while everyone was excited for the new year, I was not. I woke up New Years morning with terrible pain in my leg and hip. After two days with this pain, my doctor from Kaiser messaged me and told me to go to the closest ER to have my pain checked out. I went to scripps memorial hospital in May to deliver my son, I had a great experience with my OB and anesthesiologist, but some of the nurses were extremely rude. As a first time mother I was of course nervous to give birth. Went there at 6am because I was having consistent contractions and was told “you’re not in labor, this is false labor” “you won’t go into labor before your due date”, I then returned 12 hours later because the contractions were too much to handle and another nurse confirmed that I was in labor. I was just discharged from Scripps Encinitas ER and I went in for a 14 day intractable migraine. My neurologist told me to go so the ER could stop it completely since all my preventative and recuse medications have not helped! I was under the care of Dr Bower who has no empathy for patients with migraines! He’s been my physician in the past and every time he is I do not get any relief!
