My husband and I are very frustrated...he is ready to go home, vitals are all good, post op requirements have been met, yet somehow there's no-one who can approve his discharge because it's Sat and his surgical doctor is off? Sounds like a great way to ratchet up patients' bills, if you ask me. Reprehensible, and not a patient advocate or ombudsman in sight.

Everyone is so nice and helpful. All the staff is knowledgeable and they don't take anything lightly. This is my second baby at this hospital and wouldn't pick any other. They give you everything you need so you really don't need anything just your baby outfit, blanket and car seat! Thank you to all the great staff members!!!�

I was blessed with my knee replacement surgery, care provided by Dr. Chris Behr, the nurse supervisor, the nurses, nurse assistants, physical therapists, occupational therapist, nutritionist, food supervisor, social worker, and all employees! I was so impressed by the excellent care provided by the Scripps Mercy Team! Kudos to them!

I am brand new to Scripps. I really like the receptionists on the phone and at the front desk. Dr. Newmark was awesome. She really listened to me. She put through 2 referrals for me. It's been 11 business days and the referral dept is STILL sitting on them. They're 'pending'. I called 3 times today to talk to someone in the referral dept. They WON'T call me back. Even the manager Linda won't call me back. It's Friday night.... so my referrals are going to sit for another several days. Really unhappy. Update. Patient relation... read more

I went to the ER screaming and crying from the worse headache I ever had in my life! The ER diagnosed it as me having an Acute Headache, which I never had in the past so I believed them. 2 days later I started losing vision in my right eye. Went to A Wal-Mart (Yes Walmart) Optometrist and was instructed to head to UCSD ER because she wanted to rule out a brain aneurysm after I told her what had happen couple days prior.
