Love this place! Great access to the national park and various Adventurous activities. The wardens are very helpful and friendly and there's also a lovely little cafe across the bridge in the post office for coffee and cake.
Meggernie is a delight. A beautiful site, with knowledgeable staff who offer a variety of activities on site (either group or instructor run). The site visably employes green policies and practicies which are a great way to spark a conversation. Ooo and the showers. Honestly the best toilets and showers I know on any Scout Camp site!!
The most helpful staff made the stay an absolute succes!
