It’s apparent this hospital doesn’t take mental health seriously, whatsoever. For your sake, go somewhere else that actually cares about its patients and their well-being. As one that avoids going to doctors at all costs, this experience has made me lost complete faith all together. As if I wasn’t deterred enough to go to a doctor to begin with. I was told by the mental health department I needed to obtain a referral from my PCM to see a psychiatrist (although Tricare told me it wasn’t needed), but no problem, I contacted my... read more

My wife had surgery 2 Nov 2020. From start to the day she was released, the Medical Team was awesome. I was very pleased with the care. Her nurse Jess (5th floor North Tower) was absolutely the best. She is a Star amongst a great team.

We were in Temple for a softball tournament and my daughter broke her thumb. WE WERE HERE FOR 6 HOURS!!! For a broken thumb. The ER doctor argued when I asked them to poke a hole in her nail in the very beginning then later after letting her sit in pain for 2.5 hours they did it at direction of the supervising doctor. She finally got some relief. We waiting over an hour for them to say our X-Rays we’re back and someone would be in briefly. Then after that is was another 1.5 hours before anyone showed up. We spent probably 30... read more

So the gloves are coming off...............I really don’t even know where to start so I’ll start by saying this. On October 1, 2020 I was airlifted to Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Temple,Texas. As most of y’all know I came in in really bad shape. Under a lot of pain and even at sometimes blacking out mentally and physically I was in no shape at all to make any decisions for myself. Where I thought was a safe place and a place where I shouldn’t have to be scared or...Continue Reading

If there was a way to rate this negative stars I would; I have never seen a place that wouldn't let you stay with your loved one after a horrific accident. I understand only letting one person visit with everything the world is going through right now but to be told I can't stay with him after he was in a motorcycle wreck and has to have multiple surgeries that is ridiculous! and cruel. What do you think you are fixing by not allowing the SAME person that has been there all day not continue to stay? An intelligent person wou... read more
This has been the ONLY medical facility willing to research and locate The source of many medical issues all derived from a single hip replacement back in 2015. Excellent doctors willing to search for results!
I absolutely love Baylor Scott and White, without them I wouldn't be here right now. To mention my wonderful Oncologist Dr. Rex Garland and the financial assistance program that has cleared all my hospital bills and appointments. I don't know what I'll do without this place.

I want to tell the experience that my husband and I had at BSW two weeks after I was released from the hospital due to a hearth condition. I had an appointment to see my cardiologist at the clinic. We don't have a car so ride the Hop bus .Because my husband is the main one who is eligible to ride the bus and I am his assistant, neither of us can ride the bus without the other. Once we reached BSW clinic is when the problems began. We were wearing our masks and answered all ...Continue Reading
