RecommendedI would live here over and over again. I had the pleasure in living in 2 different units over the course of 5 years (we outgrew our first). I learned SFH is far from perfect but they really take the time to listen to residents if residents take the time to talk! They simply cannot fix a problem that they don't know exists so please utilize your RSS and maintenance team. It makes all the difference in establishing and living in a great community.

We live in Patriots Landing and we love it! Maintenance always responds quickly, the office staff are all super friendly, and the house itself is nice.
Buying a house off base an investing in yourself is my recommendation. Take advantage of your VA loan and lower interest rates. In my opinion base housing is fine, it depends on your perspective but at the end of the day it’s privatize housing and they going to do what in the best interest of there business.
I just want to give another shout out to family housing and maintenance personnel 💕we moved here about 2 years ago and have been treated amazingly the entire time!! Basically like family lol thanks again for the quick responses and work orders done so quickly and thank you for taking such great care of my parents who live here as well that means the world to me💕 I hope you all have a wonderful new year!!!
Better maintenance calls, no mold, no cob webs, no bugs in the lights, no dirty wallpaper, no carpet with staples that stab the foot as you walk up the stairs, fully staple the carpet to the floor rather than coming apart at the seems and walls. This is probably the worst housing I have lived in and my husband has been in for 11 years.
I don't think SFH gets enough credit, and I am here to say I have lived in PL before it was privatized (2006), left due to MO & now currently a resident. Sure there have been some things that have not been "perfect", but in comparison to local off-base management companies SFH is by far the best. Bottom line, BE A GOOD RESIDENT, FOLLOW THE RULES, and whether your time here is short or long I guarantee you will enjoy it. Thank you SFH staff for all your hard work!
I messaged Scott Housing multiple times about my issue but they are leaving me on read and not answering me back. I am getting seriously pissed off about my issue and Patriot Landing Housing...
Dont have any military members pay out of pocket for any utilities whatsosever. Everyone should be on the same system.
Maintenance does sub par repairs no matter the job. Now they have a policy to take pictures of work orders to decide if they will charge you or not without permission or truth about pictures they take. This is no where in lease agreement and they will not tell you about the policy until you catch them. Be cautious when wanting to live on Scott
