rented a scooter that stated it was transportable. upon arrival it doesn't fit in compact SUV. location doesn't have any available that will fit. no option to refund, discount, or essentially do anything to make it right. have a scooter for a week I cannot use, has completely ruined my trip as we are in las vegas with my elderly mother in law, a town of all walking and she cannot do it without a scooter. will never ever recommend, horrible customer service

RecommendedI was in Chicago for a conference in July. The McCormick Center is huge, and I was in tears from pain just walking (back couldn't take it) the first day to the event from attached hotel. I didn't even know a scooter was an option. The front desk gave me a 1-800 number when there was a booth at McCormick Center! (Front desk needs to be trained better @ Hyatt McCormick Center). Rented a scooter in Las Vegas. Was brought to my casino. Was easy to use, several people asked me to give them their phone number. Then rented one for cruise on rccl liberty. I was able to go everywhere on shp.. loved it so much, I have rented another one for my 11 day cruise in movember on the rccl serenade.
Honesty, reliability, and accuracy are questionable. claiming a walker was picked up, then claiming the same again two days later and then we learn it wasnt shipped untill the following week. Unfortunately, shipped with Canada post who claims to have attempted delivery of the walker. I've been here all day and there was no attempt. Now the person needing the walker must go and retrieve it from Canada post office. Well done, what did you save at the expense of your disabled client. NOT COOL!
Loved using the scooter. It worked perfectly as I had expected. I have used scoot around scooters on several occasions in several cities in which I visit for conferences, and will use them again when ever I have the need.

I have been so disappointed with Scootaround. Not only did they not provide the equipment ordered—they have yet to sincerely answer any reason why. I ordered 3 wheel scooter and got a 4 wheel. After calling the number to say I was not at all happy because the hotel had no different rooms and this scooter will not fit in the hotel room. It had to sit in the hallway and there were no plugs anywhere close to the room to recharge. After calling the company emergency number at 6pm I got a call back at 11:30pm. I was having some trouble walking prior to a procedure and still wanted to enjoy a convention I had planned on attending. Scootaround delivered the scooter to my hotel exactly when I wanted it. I was able to leave the scooter at the front desk for the company to pickup when I was finished. Excellent service.

Could not have been easier! The chair was waiting for me when I arrived for check-in and all we had to do was leave it at the front desk when we checked out! I will definitely be using their service again!
