Welcome to Schooner Valley Stables! Hop on the back of one of our horses and take a memorable ride through the hills and valleys of Yellowwood State Forest. Whether you are a greenhorn or an experienced rider, we have a horse that will suit your needs. We offer walk, trot, and cantering rides which you won't find at many stables. Bring the whole family! We have no age limit.

Beautiful trails! Best trail riding our family has ever had! Being able to go fast with the horses was so much fun! Hope to return some day soon!
My family and I came for Spring Break and it was my youngest daughter's first time riding a "big" horse. She's 5 and rode with Dad, but she is ready to ride on her own next year! We've already decided to make this a yearly family tradition, and there is much more talk these days about getting our own horse :) The relaxed attitude of the staff really helped us be relaxed too. We had a fantastic time at the ranch!
