Welcome to Schooner Valley Stables! Hop on the back of one of our horses and take a memorable ride through the hills and valleys of Yellowwood State Forest. Whether you are a greenhorn or an experienced rider, we have a horse that will suit your needs. We offer walk, trot, and cantering rides which you won't find at many stables. Bring the whole family! We have no age limit.

RecommendedI took my niece (15), daughter (7), and son (6), riding here, and I can't say enough about how awesome it was. Our guide was extremely attentive and helped instruct my son who was riding alone for the first time. The horses are well taken care of, and we had an excellent time.
We had fun and the staff was awesome
We had a great time on the 1 hour trail ride. We were a group of two moms and 5 kids and the staff were extremely patient and accommodating of our group. The horses were calm and the whole experience was great. My kids are already asking to go back!
I would recommend this to anyone. Doesn't matter your skill level they will educate you to ride. The staff were so nice and passionate about what the do. We took our 2 daughters (7 & 3) and they loved it. This was our first time and they made sure we felt comfortable before we got going. The 3 yr old rode with me and my 7 yr old rode by herself. Check them out if you are in the area. Call & schedule your ride ahead of time because they book up!
