Welcome to Schooner Valley Stables! Hop on the back of one of our horses and take a memorable ride through the hills and valleys of Yellowwood State Forest. Whether you are a greenhorn or an experienced rider, we have a horse that will suit your needs. We offer walk, trot, and cantering rides which you won't find at many stables. Bring the whole family! We have no age limit.

It was great experience for our whole family. My youngest is 6 years old and she was well cared of and gave her a great horse to ride on. Staff were very friendly and experienced. We definitely will go back!

We took a ride this past weekend -- the first time for my kids -- and everyone loved it! Daughter is now asking to have a horse of her own. Haha... I think that means we will be back for more rides in the future! I've gone on trail rides before and Schooner has to be one of the best I've ever experienced. Peaceful, shady ride with interesting terrain even for the beginner rider. I highly recommend making time for a ride! Thanks, Luke and co.!
Took the whole family today....my girls loved it and can't wait to go back! Beautiful scenery, amazing staff so kind and very helpful. Definitely be coming back again....high recommended!!! 😍

I have been here 3 times and have never been disappointed. The staff is great!! Love to hear the history of their property. Horses are well taken care of. You can always make good memories here.
