Welcome to Schooner Valley Stables! Hop on the back of one of our horses and take a memorable ride through the hills and valleys of Yellowwood State Forest. Whether you are a greenhorn or an experienced rider, we have a horse that will suit your needs. We offer walk, trot, and cantering rides which you won't find at many stables. Bring the whole family! We have no age limit.

Went today with my grandchildren for our first visit. It was fantastic, we all had such a good time! The staff are so nice & very safety minded. It was a great time & we will return!! I recommend this place for all to try!!
Fantastic experience riding through Yellowwood State Forest. The entire staff was wonderful, and great with kids from what we observed. I definitely plan to return with out of town visitors for a unique way to enjoy the great outdoors of South Central Indiana.
Started coming here in 1980's, when I was 5 years old. At 31 years of age I continue to enjoy Schooner Valley. Luke and the staff are accommodating and great people. Highly recommended. Thanks for the ride.

Best place to ride!! Well trained horses and beautiful landscape for a trail ride! Luke is a down to earth guy that really cares about his horses and his customers having a fabulous experience! Love it here!!!!
