AVOID Moving to the Scenic at River East I left the Scenic after three years for numerous reasons, not the least of which was the new management. This my opinion. The pool might be nice to see but more and more often thugs, invited or not, would come to the pool, drink beer out of glass bottles and start fights. Security does nothing. Many dogs run around off leash and may endanger other animals. That’s city code. And, dog poop is often left. The security gates here break often. The Manager took time out of her busy day to personally call me before I ever received my keys for move in - to give me a warm welcome to the community AND to assure me that She was available if I needed anything. I feel like we are always well informed about any changes that happen within the complex and the staff is always super friendly! The maintenance team is quick to fix any issues and we are always well informed about where in the process our request is at.

Verified Renter I thoroughly enjoy living at The Scenic at River East. I’ve lived here a little over two years now and have never had any issues. People in the office are always very helpful and the maintenance staff is top notch. The amenities here are wonderful. The grounds are well kept and maintained beautiful surroundings. My apartment is so spacious and I have a gorgeous view of the river and downtown. I am very happy I chose these apartments when I made the decision to simplify my life.

Verified Renter The apartment complex alone is very beautiful! I can't complain. Amenities are beautiful. However, our moving in experience was the absolute worst! My husband and I drove all the way from Chicago and when we arrived, the apartment unit was not ready at all. It is very dirty, old vegetables are still in the fridge, looks like the previous tenant's belongings were still there— wigs, bottled water, hairpins. Floor is disgusting!
