Fantastic place to stay. You can walk by the river into the centre of Cambridge in 15 mins. Sayle House is beautiful and cleaned to a high standard. Sumptuous bed with pristine white linen. Phenomenal choice at breakfast including alternatives to dairy and wheat products. Lesley and Brian were welcoming and attentive. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Sayle House when visiting Cambridge! The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood and just a short walk along the river to the downtown area. Lesley and Brian are wonderful hosts and they prepare a great breakfast every morning. I would highly recommend staying there on your next visit to Cambridge.
We stayed two nights at the end of a three-week visit to the UK with our 14-yr-old granddaughter, a lovely ending to our trip...as if we were welcomed into the elegant home of dear and generous friends. The house is at the end of a quiet residential street, north of the Cam, past the local pub, and across a footbridge to Jesus Green and Midsummer Common. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable and well presented. The breakfasts were delicious with plenty of choice. We would go back again.
