From the moment I checked in until the moment I left I was treated like a rock star by all employees. After checking in we went to the room and opened what used to be a hidden refrigerator. Later we ran into an employee with a cart with a small frig on it. He said he'd bring us one, to call the desk. We were busy, he inquired on it three times and then just brought it without us calling the front desk. The room was clean and they were generous with towels. Great hotel in a great city. Employees are terrific. Special mention to Fred in the concierge lounge could not have been more attentive, and Michael at the concierge desk was very helpful. Thanx for a great stay. We will be back.
Given that they are remodeling everything was very nice, comfortable rooms and they lined our 3 rooms up together. Staff friendly and helpful. Concierge breakfast had good choices.
This place was the Worst!!!!! Our room smelled like mold!!!! Our a.c. didn't work in the room. Went down stairs to tell front desk, and guy told me " Can't help you " !!! Can't move to new room. No rooms opened. So I asked for a fan... guy told me they don't have fans!!! We also found hair in the sink, hair in tub... I couldn't believe how rude this guy was ... This place was awful. Stay somewhere else. Booked this room because it was close to River St. The AC did not work, the room smelled musty and I found pubic hair in the shower. Reported the AC to the front desk and nothing was done. They are lots of hotels down there. For $250 plus a night this was VERY disappointing.
This was a terrible choice for us. We booked 3 rooms and asked that they be next to each other or at least on same floor . 2 on 4th and 1 on 5th. No fridge and was told you have to request that...ice machine didn’t work on floors 4 or 5.! We were early and left phone number to be reached when rooms were ready. No one rushed them . This was my second time staying at this location. The first visit I was truly impressed, not so much this time. When I arrived at my room, a refrigerator was blocking the door, that I had to move to get my luggage in the door. I call down to the front desk to tell them about the refrigerator outside by door and not having one in my room to put my drinks. The staff person tells me to move the refrigerator in my room.
