Staff were extremely friendly! Renovations are currently taking place, but not a problem! So far renovations are looking great! I loved the view, balconies were a plus and location! Will return to this location!
While we've never spent the night here, we've gone to many events. Having a water taxi right outside the door that's free is a great convenience. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. They let our running group use the restrooms and water fountains early Sunday morning and never complain. Other hotels literally locked the doors on us. The outdoor patio overlooks the river and the huge glass sky roof and indoor planted palms are awe inspiringly beautiful. Horrible. As a platinum elite member, I expect more from a Marriott brand! I stayed in room 658 and the smell of mold and mildew was overwhelming. The power outlets were so worn that I could keep my phone plugged in. That is when I finally found an outlet! I finally had to pull the night stand from the wall to plug in and push the night stand up against the plug to keep it from falling out. The concierge lounge was small and the food was horrible. THIS IS AMAZING customer service!!! I talked to Jessica about my eating restrictions and guess who went and talked to the kitchen?!?! She DID!! They are making me a grilled chicken breast and veggies without butter!!! How awesome is that?!?!?! She didn't have to go the extra step, BUT she did!!!
