SATO was just awarded "Best New Restaurant of WNY- 2014". We specialize in modern Japanese cuisine with dishes ranging from ramen to sushi. We also feature many creative dishes using local items in combination with rare Japanese ingredients. From pork belly to wagyu steak to tsukemono pickled local and Japanese vegetables. We also feature a wide variety of sake, wine, Japanese craft beer, and Japanese whisky with many fresh and creative Japanese cocktails.

I've been to the Main St location many times, but never the Elmwood location. The location is more upscale and offers a diverse menu. I loved the sweet potato tempura sushi. The service is excellent.
This was my first time here and the ramen lunch special was fantastic!
The food was so full of flavor it was just amazing. Hubby had Spucy Miso Noodles, I had the Vegetarian Noodles, Purple Rice, Ahi Tuna & Purple Sweet Potato � Sushi, Vegatable Spring Rolls, & Pork Dumplings. Prices are great/affordable, service was a little slow but our waitress was so pleasant it made up for it. Would definitely recommend & definitely go back!!! 5 �'s all the way.
All the food was so tasty and we ordered a little bit of everything!
This was my first time here and it was fantastic! I tried Ramen for the first time, getting the Spicy Miso Ramen, and it was fantastic! Shared some sushi and a dessert with my wife as well. Service was great. The waitress was very attentive even though it was busy. She was very friendly and explained anything I asked about. A fun atomosphere only added to the great night. Looking forward to going back again!
Always excellent food!! Sauté mushroom's are unbelievably out of this world!!!!
