Sassafras is an eclectic “Chalkboard” style restaurant. The progressive menu allows our experienced kitchen staff to incorporate a myriad of culinary skills acquired over the years. We work closely with local vendors, farms, breweries, wineries, bakeries, and coffee roasters. Buying local allows us to present fresh, high quality food, and beverages. Our new setup has a stage, dance floor, and is nestled at a historic location next the the Carson Hot Springs in Carson City, Nevada.

The food was good, and its easy to find. Cute decor, and friendly staff.
We absolutely love this place. Such good food, dont have a favorite dish yet, to hard to decide. Black and Blue is one of our favorite appetizers.
I love this place. Peanut butter bacon burger, the best ever. The candied pecans are unique ingredient that kills it!! The lavender lemon drop was perfect.
This is our absolute favorite restaurant in town. The service is awesome and we have never had a bad drink or food item. Between the Hot Springs, Sassafras, and Shoe Tree this is the happening place in Carson City. Nikki is the best employee there and the owners are so personable and professional. So glad it is only a mile away from our house. The walks of life that patronize Sassafras is unreal, and they are dedicated customers for sure.
