Sassafras is an eclectic “Chalkboard” style restaurant. The progressive menu allows our experienced kitchen staff to incorporate a myriad of culinary skills acquired over the years. We work closely with local vendors, farms, breweries, wineries, bakeries, and coffee roasters. Buying local allows us to present fresh, high quality food, and beverages. Our new setup has a stage, dance floor, and is nestled at a historic location next the the Carson Hot Springs in Carson City, Nevada.

Awesome menu! So many different types of choices. We were a party of 6 & all had something different. Everything was great.
Literally one the best places I have ever been for a great burger! I love me nice big juicy burger and this place does NOT let you down! Great atmosphere and great waitresses! I’m pretty picky about my food and service. These people are on TOP of it! I seriously recommend this place to anyone looking for a real burger and not that fake frozen crap from fast food. The absolute best place to eat in Carson City. What these folks are doing for their city through arts, dining, and community participation is to be cherished. Love what you have Carson City and support this establishment!!! They are worth every penny.
