Sassafras is an eclectic “Chalkboard” style restaurant. The progressive menu allows our experienced kitchen staff to incorporate a myriad of culinary skills acquired over the years. We work closely with local vendors, farms, breweries, wineries, bakeries, and coffee roasters. Buying local allows us to present fresh, high quality food, and beverages. Our new setup has a stage, dance floor, and is nestled at a historic location next the the Carson Hot Springs in Carson City, Nevada.

Best burgers around!! The food is fantastic! The pizza burger is my son’s favorite. Or the bacon praline burger.

Tom Miller is awesome. Food is awesome. Decor is awesome. Beer selection is great. Wine selection is light but good enough for most. Brewery in the backyard is a bonus. The shows they bring in are amazing. If I lived closer I would be here every night.
