Sassafras is an eclectic “Chalkboard” style restaurant. The progressive menu allows our experienced kitchen staff to incorporate a myriad of culinary skills acquired over the years. We work closely with local vendors, farms, breweries, wineries, bakeries, and coffee roasters. Buying local allows us to present fresh, high quality food, and beverages. Our new setup has a stage, dance floor, and is nestled at a historic location next the the Carson Hot Springs in Carson City, Nevada.

Great atmosphere and the service is great.
An amazing menu with tons of things I want to try.
Great selection of food and what we ordered was excellent. The server was attentive but not hovering and there was even live entertainment.
The black and blue shrimp fondue is awesome. The redneck pizza is a little spicy but good.
Best HIGH CLASS food in Carson City!!! Will DEFINITELY be back and can’t wait to taste the chefs unique, fabulous taste in cooking!!! ♥️
