Sassafras is an eclectic “Chalkboard” style restaurant. The progressive menu allows our experienced kitchen staff to incorporate a myriad of culinary skills acquired over the years. We work closely with local vendors, farms, breweries, wineries, bakeries, and coffee roasters. Buying local allows us to present fresh, high quality food, and beverages. Our new setup has a stage, dance floor, and is nestled at a historic location next the the Carson Hot Springs in Carson City, Nevada.

Great place. We stopped in on Friday. Our waiter was very attentive and even offered us a free beer when the kitchen was backed up. Great unique menue options and fabulous beer selection!

Was overlooked. The crowd behind me got theirs orders, water and drinks. I did not get offered water or anything. Unreal man. That was very rude.
The food was excellent. Had the Fodue steak!? Music on stage was a nice surprise!!!
