I have never encountered a more unprofessional and sleazy service attitude than I did from these people. When our heater went out on a Saturday morning, Santa Fe was the company who we had come out and look at our furnace even though we knew it needed an inducer motor (based on our recent service call with another company a few months prior). Dennis is very personable, knowledgeable and thorough. This visit was needed to remediate a previous issue and he was prompt and was able to fix the problem. I am very pleased with Santa Fe's service.
Recently, when my propane furnace started up, for the first 15 seconds or so it sounded like a handful of gravel and a live duck in a food processor. This concerned me. I called Santa Fe and they had a tech (Daniel) to my house in less than 90 minutes! Of course, when Daniel started the furnace the stupid thing wouldn't make the noise. I've been a customer for many many years and have always been satisfied with the service dept. I can say that I have always been impressed with how curious they are and they always explain what they are doing and why. I appreciate that and I also want to say the office staff is a 10. Jeff and his assistant arrived on time, completed the job quickly and efficiently. They were both friendly and courteous during the project. This is typical of prior service experiences I have enjoyed with Santa Fe. Definitely will call them again for any future services-- including our annual heating and A/C tune-ups.
When the tech did my winter furnace checkup he discovered a problem with the venting of the hot water heater and furnace. To make a long story short, after a lot of fruitless work to figure out the problem, it was decided that the hot water heater needed to be replaced with an electric unit. Jeff and a helper came out yesterday. Jeff rewired the circuit breaker, restructured the byzantine heat ducts and installed the heater. Thanks to Santa Fe for hanging in there!
Bought a $39 furnace tune-up from Angie's List. Had a winter inspection. My husband and I have made a new friend, Mark. I would highly recommend this company and ask for Mark. He explained everything he did, what we might want to look out for in the future and ways we can save on energy bills. I'd say we got a lot for our money and it was truly worth the visit. Looking forward to seeing Mark again in the Spring for our coolant check. Thanks Santa Fe, you earned big kudos with us and a client for life.
