Lovely place to go for something to eat. Great service and staff x
Beautiful rural location, 10 minutes to the nearest town by car or half an hour to walk. We stayed here in the 'Crash pad room' for two nights as we had a wedding in the area. Pros: hot and powerful shower, comfortable bed, gorgeous location, continental breakfast included (can upgrade at weekends to cooked) and friendly staff. Cons: the shower tray design was ridiculous and flooded the bathroom with every use, the heating in the room didn't fully function so we had to use a portable heater. I had arrived from Hong Kong at 5am on 19th December and my husband had arranged to have breakfast at the Inn on the Green prior to a funeral at Cookham Dean Church at 11am that morning. The hotel very kindly allowed us to use one of the rooms to change, leave our car in the carpark for the day, and would only accept a payment for breakfast. Their welcoming staff and generous hospitality is hugely appreciated, thank you so much and Happy Christmas to you all.
