Excellent Service! The service was just excellent! It made our trip all the way from the UK worth it.
I Could Not Have Been Happier I was a bit skeptical as their prices were WAY below everyone else and there were also some bad reviews on them. BUT! I could not have been happier. Got my wife a Lumix from these guys for her birthday. It got here in time everything was as advertised. And she loved it! Thanks for making me the King on this one.
They know what they are talking about! They are the best. The sales men are eduacted in the product. They will jump though hoop for the client. All of the newest items on the market.
Samy's is a good place to go if it's an emergency and you need a camera product right away ... they have just about EVERYTHING. In my experience, though, their prices are a little higher than other places ... if you have the time, I'd do some comparative shopping before making TOO big a purchase here.

camera store with attitude This store does not cater to the average consumer. They are used to dealing with a lot of pros and they seem to have a serious attitude. Some of their prices are good but not as good as B&H back east. Really there is no excuse to be so short and abrupt with people, so I would say shop elsewhere. The selection is pretty good, but almost anything they have you can get elsewhere, especially in LA.
Scott's the Best I bought a camera 3 years back from Scott and he was extraordinarily informative, helpful and patient. I heard he transferred to another Samy's Camera and I went there today to buy another camera and heard he was transferred back and especially made the trip over just to be sure he assisted me with my purchase today. Scott consistently provides the BEST customer service and I will ALWAYS come back to Scott for future purchases.
superb camera store i have been dealing with samy's camera for about 10 years. they can repair any camera -- and are honest enough to tell you when your camera is beyond repair.
Great Cameras Plain and simple, Samy's Camera has excellent customer service. The staff was very informative and helpful. I will never go to another camera store again.
