Scott's the Best I bought a camera 3 years back from Scott and he was extraordinarily informative, helpful and patient. I heard he transferred to another Samy's Camera and I went there today to buy another camera and heard he was transferred back and especially made the trip over just to be sure he assisted me with my purchase today. Scott consistently provides the BEST customer service and I will ALWAYS come back to Scott for future purchases.
Wonderful Experience Before buying my Canon 5D and accessories I researched prices and services online. After a couple of weeks I decided to swing by Samy's. David thoroughly helped me set up a custom made offer for a kit, and when I returned the following week Larry helped me tweak it to excellence with honest a knowledgeable advice. In the lighting department, Ken showed me the same kind of patience and skill, and now I can't wait to play with my "toys"!! Will I return to Samy's when I need to expand my kit?...It's a duh!
They Really Know What They're Talking About When I first came to Samy's more then four years ago for the very first time I have to admit I was overwhelmed by the amount of inventory that they have. I am glad that they have this huge inventory because not once have I not been able to get what I needed at the moment I was there. Every time I needed to get something it was in stock. Staff is Helpful AND Polite I have been a customer here since my favorite shop closed 2-3 years ago "Studio City Camera Exch." What I really like about Samy's is that they they know their stuff. I'd rather shop somewhere where the sales people are knowledgeable and educated and they are not there to tickle my fancy, rather than to go to a mall type store where they are really nice and polite and courteous, but they don't know anything about what they are talking about.
That's How I Want It I needed a quick replacement for my underwater camera while on assignment. It was unbelievable to me but it took them just 5 minutes and I was set. I did not have to explain anything. The Samy's guy knew it all. Fantastic. Clean, honest and precise. That's how I want it.
