Strangest dental visit I've ever had. A hygienist (I presume) (who spoke just above a whisper with a strong accent) (she is from Nepal) took xrays. Then behind me she discussed them with someone, again in a low voice so I couldn't hear what they were saying. Then she took another full set of xrays. I became a patient of Okaloosa Family Dentist in 2023 and have been so happy I found Dr. Hoy! After several disappointing experiences with other local dentists, I had all but given up. It seemed these practitioners were too busy to answer any of my questions, discounted my fears and were even irritated that I would ask. Not so with Dr. Hoy. I had a procedure six weeks ago and kept wondering why my insurance company hadn't paid the claim since the office staff told me they had sent it in and that it takes 30 days to process. Today, I called my insurance company, and they told me they have not received any claims! So I called the office.
