Had a lovely couple of days stay at the salt house, highly recommend. The staff were impeccable nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was lovely and the food was delicious.

when checking in I was told at reception that my room included breakfast the same as my two colleagues, but when I checked out I was told that my room did not in fact include breakfast and I had to pay an additional £40, one of my colleagues was checking out the day after and I asked if it was the same for him when he checks out and they said yes he would also have to pay, but when he checked out the person on reception removed this cost for him, so why was that as we both were told breakfast was included but I was charged a... read more

My wife and I had our first break at Salthouse this weekend, having had some enjoyable stays previously at its sister hotel The Angel in Bury and can tell you that the facilities, food and service at both are abfab.

What a gem. We upgraded to a waterfront with balcony, the room was stunning with great views over the river. Breakfast was delicious and very good value. Staff are courteous and very helpful.
