Me and my partner visited this a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. However we have been again today and made a note that the cable carts finish at 6pm. We were out side with another couple at 17:54pm and it was all locked up. I couldn’t believe it as I suffer with asthma and knew we needed to be back to catch the cart back up. What a wonderful experience! I’ve wanted to visit for many years, having been told stories about my family visiting 50+ years ago. It was a real bucket list item for me, and I’m so glad I’ve ridden on the tramway! Brilliant, friendly staff - very reasonable price for such a unique experience too - I’d highly recommend visiting and taking a ride in this piece of living history. Interesting bit of history and perfect for the immobile to get up and down the cliff to the promenade and pier. Perhaps just me but it feels like a £1 a trip seems reasonable than £2 or a discount on a return. £10 for the family for a 1min ride felt a bit much. Fun none the less. Queues can be lengthy.
