October 1, 2017 is a day that will haunt me for the rest of my life. It is the day that Saint Francis mistakenly told me that my father had died. My hands are visibly shaking as I type this. My dad was a patient in 4122 on 4 West. He was admitted to receive antibiotics, continuous bladder irrigation, and IV fluid for a UTI. RecommendedMy husband was treated there in 2017 following a massive heart attack resulting in an MVA. They were awesome. From the ER to the trauma team the pulmonologist and of course the cardiac team all were great. I knew what was going on every step of the way. They readily explained things and answered questions. I thank God for them every day.
The wait time is horrible.. I have been here waiting 5 hours and I still have not had my consult it is called an urgent emergency room for a reason the service is is disappointing no one informs you on anything you can be in pain and still they will not see you and have horrible horrible service the people are mostly rude I have only ran into 1 concerning nurse and that is it ..... they can know about your pain but it depends on the emergency they said and it’s not just my experience it’s everyone who has this problem people... read more

RecommendedMy grand daughter was there ill and I can not say enough great things about this hospital. Staff was like family. We never felt like we were rushed or not important. Such wonderful nurses, Drs. and hospital staff. Even non-medical staff was wonderful. They kept rooms clean and was very kind.

worst experience ever. they lied on my son birth certificate and put a Dr name that was not in the room as the delivering Dr.
I had the most terrible experience in the emergency room at Saint Francis South. Very unprofessional staff and a Dr. that did not want to do the procedure needed to relieve my pain. I was sent home to receive a $1600.00 bill for absolutely no treatment at all! I would recommend anyone to drive much further to a hospital across town to receive proper treamtment, even in an emergency!
