I went for my mammogram early because I found 3 hard lumps in my breast. I was rushed in and out. As a survivor you would think they would be more concerned. They didn’t even do a breast exam. They said it was “probably scar tissue”. I had an appointment at Sitemans and the scans were supposed to be faxed there before my appointment. It wasn’t. RecommendedMy husband was discharged a week ago after 8 days in the hospital. He had abdominal surgery - major surgery. The staff were wonderful with him and comforting to me. They not only looked after him but tried to make me as comfortable as possible. Always with a smile.
We came in today for the first time ever for a procedure. I wanted to say that every single person we encountered had a smile on their face and was beyond nice! I made my way around the hospital waiting on my fiancé to the gift shop, the little cafe type restaurant and back to the waiting room and actually enjoyed myself!
Have always had good care here, but the Heart and Valve Team is outstanding.
I was in the ER this evening after having suffered over a week with right sided abdominal pain. I had my appendix removed several years ago so I knew that wasn't the issue. I tried remedies for any possibilities I could think of and had no luck getting relief so it was time to go get seen. Right away my visit was made better by the triage nurse. Because they have a very caring staff! My husband was discharged after 3 days in PB Hospital still in pain & with gallbladder issues that Ultrasound, HIDA Scan showed! He was sent home with orders to take a bag full of medicine because they diagnosed him with Afib and to follow up with the Cardiac surgeon September 27 (9 days from discharge). The rudeness was uncalled for. Never had such hatefulness in not just one nurse but nearly all that came in during a same day surgery for my mother. They need taken down a few notches by the bosses. How would they feel being treated that way when it is stressful enough knowing you have cancer. Had it not been for the time already used getting to that point to have surgery i would have taken my mother to another place. They have the best staff and doctors here. Very kind and makes you feel your important and feel comfortable. I will never go to any other ER but only Saint Francis Medical Center's ER. ❤❤❤❤
