I can testify to the absolute effectiveness of the PT section. Kirt, Amber, and Steve have helped me overcome obstacles associated with two new hips and my right shoulder. As for the ER...just no.
Over the past 4 years, have had occasion to use the Emergency Room, Surgical Facilities (had 5 inpatient surgeries), Wound Care, and most recently used WomenCare for a mammogram. I find the Nurses & Staff phenomenal. As with anywhere, physician care varies from lackluster to phenomenal. My suggestion is try to do your research on physicians. For Orthopedics, I recommend going up to Barnes Jewish in St. Louis. Other than that, I like the care provided by Saint Francis.

I see these commercials for saint francis medical center saying everyone is treated with dignity and respect... then how come my husband...who has head tattoos but not even a speeding ticket on his record was escorted out of the emergency room when I was there and the security guard says to him IVE DEALT WITH YOUR KIND BEFORE. # LYING!! We will never go back there ever again.
The staff is unprofessional, uneducated and blatantly judgmental.
They do an excellent job getting to the bottom of thing’s and they listen to the patient.
Was once a great hospital until 3 years ago when the administration changed and so did the service and quality of doctors. I would recommend going anywhere else unless it’s a dire emergency and even then I’d try to go somewhere else if at all possible.
