RecommendedI went to STFrancis ER during recovery from surgery in STL. I felt like I was suffocating. My ER doctor listened to what I had to say and immediately helped me. As it turned out, my right lung was full of fluid. My ER doc went the extra mile and not only saved me an expensive ride in an ambulance to STL, but also diagnosed me quickly and ordered the correct tests. Shout out to the wonderful labor and delivery team at St Francis! My daughter had a massive postpartum hemorrhage and their team, especially Dr Lorenz, Katie and Megan remained calm and reassuring and took care of her. There were many others I didn’t name, I thank all of you!!
Did not disclose that their pathology was not in network & was not covered. Found out when we got the bill!

They misdiagnose people. They charge outrageous prices for medicine you have at home. They have opiate addicts working in the er.
They misdiagnosed my husband and put him on lethal blood thinners. Then we get the bill. They charged us $3000.00 just for medicine. His meds he had at home were $40.00 a pill. The prescriptions are less than $3.00 for a months supply. They are lying about lowering prices. They only thing they’ve lowered is the quality of staff.
I worked there. Orthopedic doctors are very Unprofessional and sexist. Never worked with a bunch of jerks like in my life until there. They are hateful disrespectful and downright nasty personalities. Best Thing happened to me was leaving. I would never let anybody work there if I had a choice. HR Could care less.
