Ordered two racks on feb 12 received my order feb 22 but only half my order. Called customer service and was informed it was on hold in shipping and I do not know why. Contacted them the next day for an update and was told then that the order was resubmitted but shipping was closed that day so they would not receive it until Friday then four to five business days until it was filled and shipped. I bought two systems to make room in my garage, saw these and thought it was a great idea. When I went to assemble the first system I found one shelf section with an unwelded (but included) support beam. I immediately emailed the issue to the "contact" it said to contact. Two days later and .... Nothing back! Not wanting to wait, I opened the other system and removed one of the shelves to use. We have a personal guarantee for any damages if the installation is done by a SafeRacks Certified Installer. We install thousands of racks a month across the U.S. and rarely, if ever, have any issues regarding safety of the product once properly installed.
Via their website, asked to be contacted about their product and an estimate on overhead garage storage and installation. I received a call back, at that time I was not able to take the call, no message was left. I called back the number that called me, sounded like a 12yo answered the phone when I got to the sales dept., when I asked about getting an estimate I was told that they don't do that. Product is good but shipping damage 2 wire racks. Waited 30mins to talk to rep but she could not locating me order I put through at Costco. Is safe racks asking me to installed the entire product and get a refund and reorder, reinstall again?
Waited over two weeks to receive a 4' x 4' garage storage rack. Had to call to get it shipped when it finally did. Never, ever received an email confirmation about any of the shipping as is promised when you place an order. When the main box came it had no hardware to install it. Called AGAIN, only to be told they would send out the bag of hardware in the next 3-5 business days, and allow another 3 days to arrive. I recently purchased two 4x8 racks from a large retailer on EBAY. The products seem to be good, but the bag in which the nuts and bolts are in is weak and had torn open during shipping, and many of the nuts and bolts had fallen out of the box. Of note, the box did not appear to be damaged. Thinking this would be an easy thing to resolve, I called your company using the phone number on the materials in the box, and was told that who I purchased the product from was not an authorized retailer and as such I could not be helped.... read more
