When most guys retire, they decide to take it easy, maybe play a little golf or something. Not Russ Salvatore—he built a contemporary restaurant and luxury hotel to run in his retirement. Salvatore, who has been in the restaurant business over 40 years, founded Salvatore's Italian Gardens and Salvatore's Grand Hotel, which he operated until his retirement. Took my husband for his birthday & our dining experience was absolutely wonderful. The service was on point & our dinners were amazing. I highly recommend the Filet Oscar. It was a very nice dining experience & cannot wait to return.

The food for our party of 30 was delicious and hot. Waitstaff was knowledgable, flexible, and helpful....And the coffee is out of this world.
