Bland, nominal amenities and utilities, paired with high prices. No AC. No ventilation. Small windows. Shower floods. No toothbrushes. No elevator. Brusque staff. Hard to recommend.

Lovely underrated hotel with fantastic friendly staff. Grounds were lovely, very farm to table vibe, the best you can get if you like this “type” of place: private, high end, thoughtful and rural. We stayed in one of the cottages and it was lovely, zero corners cut by management, very high quality excellent design/materials/ingredients in everything. Attend a Wedding at Rufflets yesterday and the venue, food and service were all excellent. Highly recommend. One of the bar staff team (Lee) did an amazing job serving us all throughout the evening.

Very expensive beetroot starter, which was a boiled beetroot with a few crumbs of feta cheese and the obligatory rocket, flavour free! ☹️ Fish and chips was bland/passible, sticky toffee pudding was excellent 😋

I photographed a wedding at Rufflets St Andrews recently and loved my first time working at the venue. The building is very charming with its ivy covered turrets, and the grounds were beautifully manicured. The wedding I photographed had less than 20 guests so they had their ceremony and meal in the smaller room, but I understand there is also another suite for larger weddings.
