Best gym I have been a part of. We are one big family there. No one ever makes you feel excluded and help is always there when you need it whether you are just visiting or in it for the long haul.
Only 2 places you can go in michigan and get the same hard core weight lifting atmosphere: Detroit barbell and prison.
I am just in town for the week visiting and they were nice enough to give me a free guest pass since this is my first visit. I'm training for my first physique competition so I needed a legit place to lift. The staff here are SO friendly and supportive, and every day I met a gym goer who had something nice to say. They have a ton of equipment and even at peak time like 5pm I had access to everything I needed. No towel charge and tanning included.
